KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of westerly winds currently affecting Nepal.

As of now, the weather remains predominantly clear in most parts of the country, with some variations in the hilly regions.

Meanwhile, the Terai area experiences widespread fog, affecting visibility significantly.

This afternoon, the Division has predicted mostly clear skies with occasional cloud cover nationwide.

There’s a chance of light snowfall in high hills and Himalayan areas within the Koshi and Gandaki provinces, it said.

Moreover, tonight, isolated snowfall is expected in select locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

The Diviison has urged people to take precautions as temperatures drop substantially due to the combined effects of wind, fog, and snowfall.

Especially in the Terai region, where fog is prevalent, commuters are urged to exercise caution as it may impact transportation services.
