DHANGADHI: Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has emphasized the need for equal treatment of all leaders and members within the party.

Speaking at the inaugural convention of the Nepal Democratic Veterans Association, a sister organization of the Nepali Congress, on Saturday, he stated that the party must ensure fair and just behavior without favoritism.

He highlighted grievances among several leaders and members who feel they have been treated unfairly and stressed the importance of addressing such concerns.

“The party must move forward by fostering unity,” Dr. Koirala stated.

Other speakers at the event, including Congress leaders Dr. Sunil Sharma, Sanjay Kumar Gautam, Hridayaram Thani, Dr. Govinda Pokharel, and the central president of the Nepal Democratic Veterans Association, Balkrishna Dahal, also stressed the need to expand the party organization and maintain unity.
