NPL: Lahiru sets record for highest runs

KATHMANDU: Janakpur Bolts’ Lahiru Milantha has set a new record for the highest runs scored in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

He surpassed Chitwan Rhino’s Ravi Bopara to achieve this milestone.

In the final match against Sudurpaschim Royals, Lahiru scored 87 runs, bringing his total to 293 runs in 10 matches. He was also awarded the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance in the final.

Previously, Ravi Bopara held the record with 286 runs in 8 matches.

Rohit Paudel, captain of Lumbini Lions, is in third place with 279 runs from 7 matches.
