DPM Prakash Man Singh vows development and economic prosperity

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has highlighted the government’s dedication to enhancing the current conditions through development and economic growth.

Addressing a cadre meeting organized by the Nepali Congress Thaha Nagar Working Committee on Saturday, Singh said the government is prioritizing political stability to enhance citizens’ lives.

Singh said the current ruling coalition was formed to address public dissatisfaction stemming from unstable alliances post-election.

“The government is working with the citizens at the center,” he said.

During his visit to Thaha Municipality, Singh inspected the Chandragiri-Chitlang road, originally initiated by his father Ganeshman Singh.

He acknowledged delays in its construction and pledged to expedite the project.

“The Chandragiri-Chitlang road is not only the shortest route to the capital but also connects to the capital of Bagmati Province, giving it significant strategic importance,” Singh said.

He stressed the importance of cooperation across all levels of governance and urged unity among people’s representatives at federal, provincial, and local levels to achieve development goals.

Singh also called for timely execution of infrastructure projects, urging all stakeholders to work together to prevent further delays.
