SAFF Women’s Championship: Nepal secures dominant 11-0 victory over Maldives 



KATHMANDU: Nepal achieved a stunning 11-0 win against the Maldives in the SAFF Women’s Championship on Monday at Dasharath Stadium.

The Maldivian team appeared helpless against Nepal’s relentless attack.

Rekha Paudel led the charge for Nepal, scoring five goals, while Preeti Rai netted three. Anita KC, Sabita Rana Magar, and Amisha Karki each contributed one goal.

With this victory, Nepal now sits at the top of Group B with 4 points, sharing the same points as Bhutan, but ahead on goal difference. Sri Lanka has 3 points, while the Maldives remains at the bottom with 1 point.
