Two injured after boulder strikes moving vehicle on Narayangadh-Muglin road



KATHMANDU: Two people were injured when a boulder struck a moving micro-bus on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section in Chitwan.

The micro-bus, with registration number Province 01006 Kha 6414, was hit by the boulder in Bharatpur Metropolitan-29.

The injured passengers have been identified as Kalpana Pariyar, 30, and her eight-year-old daughter, Kanchan Pariyar, of Devchuli Municipality-13.

Both are currently receiving treatment in Bharatpur, according to Indra Dev Yadav, the Chief District Officer, who stated, “Their health is stable.”

Due to continuous rainfall in Chitwan and neighboring districts, the risk of floods and landslides has increased.

The District Administration Office has urged the public to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary.
