APF rescues 25 stranded in Mohana River flood

KAILALI: The Armed Police Force (APF) successfully rescued 25 people stranded in the Mohana River flood on July 21.

Residents of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-14 were caught in the sudden rise of the river’s water level while they were across the river cutting grass.

Upon receiving information about the stranded individuals, a security team from the APF Border Outpost in Phulbari was dispatched.

According to Assistant Spokesperson of APF Shailendra Thapa, the team managed to rescue all 25 people safely using rubber boats.
