Seeking a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives (HoR), PM Oli publicly detailed the agreement made with Sher Bahadur Deuba, President of the Nepali Congress, before the formation of the new government.

Key Points of the Agreement:

Formation of National Consensus Government: A national consensus government will be formed under Article 76(2) of the Constitution to ensure political stability by involving other political parties. Equal Participation: The two major political parties will play leading roles and have equal participation in the government, with other political parties also being included.

Provincial and Local Development: The national consensus government will form and operate the provincial government in line with the essence and spirit of the consensus agreement, focusing on accelerating development and construction at the provincial and local levels according to public sentiment.
