Gold price drops by Rs 1,300 in domestic market

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the domestic market has decreased by Rs 1,300 per tola today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold is now fixed at Rs 146,200 per tola, while standard gold is trading at Rs 145,500 per tola.

On Wednesday, the price of fine gold had reached a record high of Rs 149,800 per tola.

Additionally, the price of silver stands at Rs 1,810 per tola today.

It is important to note that a tola is approximately 11.66 grams.
