NEPSE surges by 23.94 points, transaction amount over 5 billion



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has continued its bullish trend on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

NEPSE surged by 23.94 points today.

With a rise of 1.14 percent, NEPSE stabilized at 2115.94 points.

Following a trading volume of around 6 billion on Monday, today’s trading volume has exceeded 5 billion.

As the market closed today, a total of 13,241,217 shares were traded in 73,667 transactions, equivalent to Rs 5,206,208,111.

Out of 317 companies trading their shares today, the share prices of 194 companies have increased, while 43 companies’ share prices have decreased. The share prices of 9 companies remained stable.

Today, the sensitive index increased by 3.53 points, the float index by 1.78 points, and the sensitive float index by 1.40 points. Sub-indices have also shown a positive trend today.

While the share prices of Development Bank and Trading groups decreased, the share prices of 11 other sub-groups increased.
