KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has predicted light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in parts of Koshi, Madhes, and Lumbini provinces today.
This weather pattern is attributed to the combined effects of local and westerly winds, along with a low-pressure system developed near Bihar, India.
The hilly regions of the country are expected to remain partly cloudy.
Specifically, the hilly areas within Koshi and Lumbini provinces are forecast to experience light to moderate rainfall, storms, and lightning throughout the day.
