KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today at 11 am.
According to the agenda, Speaker Devraj Ghimire is scheduled to read out the details of a letter received from the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.
Speaker Ghimire will also nominate members to preside over the meeting according to Rule 10 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2079.
Similarly, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is scheduled to table the address given by the President on the government’s policies and programs to the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
Meanwhile, Industry, Commerce, and Supply Minister Damodar Bhandari is scheduled to table Ordinance 2081, which aims to amend some Nepal Acts related to investment facilitation.
Likewise, Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Sumana Shrestha is scheduled to propose that the National Assembly consider the Shahid Dashrath Chand Health Sciences University Bill, 2080.
