Sharmila Waiba’s custody extended by two days



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Court has granted the police permission to extend the custody of Sharmila Waiba for an additional two days.

Chandra Prasad Panti, spokesperson for the Kathmandu District Court, confirmed that the court has approved the extension of custody for the seventh time.

Sharmila Waiba, a self-proclaimed social activist from Bahrabise in Sindhupalchowk, was arrested by the Sindhupalchowk police last month in connection with a case involving assault.
