Gold price sets new record yet again

Price of fine gold fixed at Rs 127,800 per tola in Nepali market



KATHMANDU: The Nepali gold market witnessed yet another milestone as the price of gold surged to a new all-time high.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 127,800 per tola and standard gold is traded at Rs 127,200 per tola.

The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs. 125,200 per tola, and standard gold at Rs. 124,600 per tola on Wednesday.

Previously, on March 10, the price of gold reached its peak at a staggering Rs 126,000 per tola in the Nepali market.

However, breaking its previous record, Thursday’s gold price stands at an unprecedented Rs 127,800 per tola, marking an increase of 1,800 from the previous high.

Compared to Wednesday’s stability, the price of gold has surged by Rs 2,600 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 1,555 per tola today.

The Federation fixes the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market on a daily basis based on the price rates in the international market.
