Microfinance victims protest in Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: The microfinance victims have staged a demonstration in Kathmandu, marching from Siphal ground, Chabahil to Baluwatar on Wednesday.

The microfinance victims from all parts of the country had previously gathered in Muglin and commenced a week-long protest march.

Those who met in Muglin on February 13 arrived in Kathmandu from Muglin on completing a seven-day walk.

Mostly comprising women, around 3,000 protesters participated in the demonstration.
