Koshi government approves province agriculture promotion grant legislation



BIRATNAGAR: The Koshi Province Government has approved the Province Agriculture Promotion Grant Third Amendment Regulations-2081.

The proposal to this connection was brought by the province government’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

A meeting of the provincial Council of Ministers convened today and chaired by Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki decided to approve the Regulations, said Bhupendra Rai, spokesperson of the provincial government and also the Minister for Infrastructure Development.

Koshi provincial government spokesman Rai said that the meeting also decided to give agreement in principle to draft a separate Act under the Ministry of Health to make the province’s health services even more effective and to give additional 30 days to the work plan prepared to carry out research and feasibility study on Ayurveda Health Service.
