Rabi’s Court hearing concludes in Pokhara



POKHARA: The statement of Rabi Lamichhane, Chair of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has concluded at the Kaski District Court. The hearing took place in the presence of Judge Nabaraj Dahal.

Lamichhane, who was arrested last Friday in Kathmandu, was presented in court today. Following the completion of the hearing, a decision is expected soon regarding whether he will remain in custody or be released, along with a ruling on an extension of his detention.

The police, through the government attorney’s office, have requested a five-day extension to investigate Lamichhane on charges related to cooperative fraud and organized crime.
