POKHARA: Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been taken to the Kaski District Court following his arrest on charges of cooperative fraud.

Lamichhane, who was apprehended in Kathmandu on Friday, was transported to Pokhara before being brought to court by police to seek an extension of his remand.

Authorities are preparing to prosecute him on three charges, including defrauding the Suryadarshan Cooperative of Pokhara, organized crime, and money laundering.
