National Assembly Vice-Chair departs for China

KATHMANDU: Vice Chair of the National Assembly, Bimala Ghimire, departed for China today, leading a six-member delegation to participate in the 8th China-South Asia Exhibition in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.

The delegation includes National Assembly members Maya Prasad Sharma, Tulsa Kumari Dahal, and Durga Kumari Gurung, Federal Parliament Secretariat Deputy Secretary Bikas Bohara, and the Vice Chair’s Personal Secretary Prem Bahadur Singh.

The parliamentary delegation, led by the Vice Chair, will attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition on July 22.

Vice Chair Ghimire is also scheduled to address the inaugural session of the exhibition.

During the visit, the delegation will meet with high-ranking officials from the Yunnan provincial government.

They are scheduled to return home on July 24.
