KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda delivered a scathing rebuke aimed at the main opposition Nepali Congress during today’s session of the House of Representatives.

Addressing the disruption caused by the Nepali Congress during the House of Representatives’ meeting convened for a vote of confidence on Monday, the Prime Minister expressed profound disappointment.

“Nepali Congress did a lot of wrong today. The prime minister who has supported you many times, who has endeavored to guide you towards dialogue and consensus,” he lamented, “Yet today, you obstructed the same prime minister during the vote of confidence.”

PM Dahal emphasized that the Nepali Congress’s actions would leave an indelible mark on Nepal’s history.

“This activity of yours will remain as a stain in the history of Nepal,” he asserted.

“You will have to pay a heavy price for it. The consequences of your actions will inevitably catch up with you,” he warned.
