NC holding Parliamentary Party meeting

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress, the main opposition party, is holding its parliamentary party meeting today.

Chief Whip of the party, Ramesh Lekhak, said that both the parliamentary party and its work committee meetings would be held on Monday morning.

The Parliamentary Party’s work committee will be held at 8:30 am while the Parliamentary Party at 9:00 am, according to the party.

The meetings to be held at Lhotse Hall of Federal Parliament building, New Baneshwor, is likely to chart out the party’s future course of action a day after Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane blamed NC leaders, including its General Secretary Gagan Thapa of fradulence.

The Nepali Congress has been obstructing the House of Representatives demanding the formation of a parliamentary investigation committee to probe into cooperative fraud.
