Jhulaghat checkpoint reopens in Baitadi



BAITADI: The Jhulaghat border checkpoint in Baitadi, sharing the border with India, has resumed operations.

Chief District Officer Bhimkant Sharma confirmed that the border point, which was temporarily closed due to the Lok Sabha elections in India, has now reopened.

The Jhulaghat border point had been closed since April 16 at 6:00 pm until April 19, in light of the Lok Sabha elections held in Uttarakhand Pradesh.
