Loktantrik Samajbadi Party expands central committee with 8 new members

KATHMANDU: The Loktantrik Samajbadi Party Nepal (LSP), led by Chair Mahantha Thakur, has added eight new central members in a recent expansion.

This move comes amid internal changes following the departure of senior leader Rajendra Mahato.

The newly appointed members are Shyam Sardar of Saptari, Jivachha Prasad Yadav of Siraha, Sunil Kumar Yadav of Dhanusha, Jagat Mahara of Sarlahi, Ram Pravesh Das Tatma of Rautahat, Manju Karki of Bara, Bhogadevi Rana Tharu of Kanchanpur, and Rabindra Sunar of Kaski.

With these additions, the LSP’s central committee now comprises 355 members.
