Home Minister asks security officials to work in innovative ways



SUDURPASCHIM: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has directed the security officials to be innovative in their work performance.

Inaugurating the Sudurpaschim Province-Level Security Seminar in Dhangadhi today, Minister Lekhak said the security agencies should remain active all the time for border security, controlling criminal activities, disaster management and social harmony.

“The security agencies should ensure the situation for the citizens to exercise their rights, and maintain law and order, rule of peace, peace and security and discipline in the country,” Minister Lekhak said.

On the occasion, the Home Minister said that new bills would be tabled in the upcoming House Session to make the Nepal Police Act and Armed Police Force, Nepal Act timely.

Organized by the Home Ministry, and Province’s Internal Affairs and Law Ministry, the seminar has the participation of chiefs and representatives of all nine districts’ security officials.
