Weather expected to remain cloudy today



KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has stated that monsoon air is still affecting the country’s weather.

The monsoon trough is situated around its usual position, extending to the west and south.

The Division has indicated that the weather is partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy in the hilly regions, with the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mostly clear skies.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few locations in the hilly areas of the Koshi and Bagmati provinces, as well as a couple of places in other hilly regions.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas, including Koshi and Bagmati provinces, while the rest of the country will be partly to mostly clear.

Light to moderate rain is expected in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
