KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Thursday).

The value of the US dollar, which declined yesterday, has dropped further today. In contrast, the Australian dollar, which increased yesterday, has risen again.

According to the exchange rates published by the Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is 133.71 rupees, while the selling rate is 134.31 rupees.

This marks a continued decline after the dollar’s value fell on Wednesday.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one US dollar was 133.71 rupees, with a selling rate of 134.53 rupees.

For today, the Euro remains unchanged with a buying rate of 148.76 rupees and a selling rate of 149.43 rupees, compared to yesterday’s rates of 148.88 rupees and 149.55 rupees, respectively.

The buying rate for one pound sterling today is 176.65 rupees, with a selling rate of 177.44 rupees, consistent with yesterday’s rates.

The Australian dollar’s buying rate has increased to 90.77 rupees, with a selling rate of 91.17 rupees, up from yesterday’s buying rate of 90.34 rupees and selling rate of 90.75 rupees.

For the Saudi Riyal, the buying rate is 35.63 rupees and the selling rate is 35.79 rupees, slightly up from yesterday’s rates of 35.62 and 35.78 rupees.

The Qatari riyal maintains a buying rate of 36.68 rupees and a selling rate of 36.84 rupees, unchanged from yesterday.

Likewise, the UAE dirham remains steady at a buying rate of 36.40 rupees and a selling rate of 36.57 rupees, consistent with yesterday’s prices.
