Heavy rain expected in all provinces today

KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has said that monsoon air is currently affecting the country.

According to the Division, there is partial to general cloud cover across the country.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in some areas of all provinces.

This afternoon, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in many areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in some areas of Madhesh province.

The Division has also indicated the possibility of heavy rain in one or two locations across all provinces.

Tonight, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected in some areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and a few areas in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces.

Additionally, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two locations in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
