During the telephone call today, Minister Rana expressed her concerns regarding the safety and welfare of Nepali citizens, particularly students, in Bangladesh amidst recent developments.

She instructed Ambassador Bhandari to ensure that Nepalis face no inconvenience and to coordinate effectively to create a safe environment for them to remain in their current locations.

According to a statement from Minister Rana’s Secretariat, Ambassador Bhandari assured that all Nepalis in Bangladesh are safe.

He advised them to remain indoors unless absolutely necessary, follow instructions from their campus administrations, and provided embassy contact details for any assistance required.
