Six girls rescued from guest house in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Six girls were rescued last night from a guest house in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, by the Anti-Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police, acting on a tip-off.

According to Bureau Spokesperson Gautam Mishra, the girls were rescued from the Ramechhap Guest House, operated by Nabin Thapa.

Thapa, from Ramechhap district, is charged with engaging the girls in anti-social activities by luring them with promises of financial gains.

Police have also detained Thapa and Ujjawal Khadka from Kageshwori Manohara, Kathmandu, for their alleged involvement in these illegal activities.
