Kaligandaki Corridor reopens after two-week landslide disruption

BAGLUNG: Vehicular movement along the Kaligandaki corridor has resumed today after a two-week blockage.

The traffic was obstructed since July 5 due to a landslide at Dablyang in Baglung Municipality-10, which swept away a section of the road.

This interruption completely halted vehicular movement in the Kaligandaki corridor, a national pride project.

The District Police Office, Baglung, reported that the Kaligandaki corridor office has constructed a gabion to repair the damaged road section.

As a result, vehicles to and from Baglung, Butwal, Bhairahawa, and Muktinath were off the road for two weeks due to the obstruction.
