EC seeks cooperation for by-election

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has appealed for cooperation from the government and other stakeholders to ensure the upcoming by-election is conducted in a free, fair, and credible manner.

Scheduled for April 27, the by-election requires concerted efforts from all parties involved.

The EC has urged the government to facilitate a conducive atmosphere for security personnel and employees.

Adequate arrangements for electricity, drinking water, transportation, health services, and communication infrastructure are essential for the smooth conduct of the election.
