The bridge is considered a lifeline for the districts of Dolpa, Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim in Karnali Province.

According to Ranjitkar, they have planned to complete the entire work of the bridge within a week.

The government has allocated Rs 38.1 million for the construction of the Bailey bridge at Tallu which connects Dolpa, Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim districts.

The bridge is a crucial road infrastructure as it establishes a road link between Nepal, India and China.
