Litterateur Parshu Pradhan passes away

KATHMANDU: Famed writer Parshu Pradhan, known for his literary contributions, has passed away at the age of 80.

Parshu’s son, journalist Prateek Pradhan has confirmed the news of his father’s demise.

Parshu Pradhan breathed his last at his residence in Baneswar last night.

“On this somber occasion, with deep sorrow, I announce the departure of my beloved father Parshu Pradhan from this world to the next,” Prateek Pradhan shared on social media.

The final rites ceremony will take place at Pashupati Aryaghat today at 9:30.

Born in Bhojpur, Pradhan was initially involved in literature during his education and later served in the administrative service of the Government of Nepal for an extensive period.
