KATHMANDU: Two members of the hooligan group led by Yuvaraj Gurung, alias Sanubhai, were released on bail on Monday.

The youths faced charges related to attempted murder and extortion.

On February 15, the bench of Kathmandu District Court Judge Mahendra Raj Kafle ordered the release of the accused duo on bail.

They were released after the required bail amount was submitted to the court.

Bisu Tamang, also known as ‘Thate’ or ‘Biswo,’ and Shailendra Tamang, alias ‘Marshal,’ were apprehended for their alleged involvement in the attempted murder of a youth at the Playboy Club in Thamel.

Although CCTV footage recorded the participation of seven individuals, including Sanubhai, Kamal Tamang, Sher Bahadur Paudel, Binod Tamang, and Raghu Tamang, along with Biswo and Marshal, the others remain absconding at present.
