Two die in Tanahu jeep accident



TANAHU: Two people died when a Bolero jeep met with an accident on the inner road section of Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality-1, Tanahu this morning.

16 others sustained injuries in the accident, police said.

The jeep, bearing the registration number Ba 18 Cha 5921, lost control and plunged approximately 500 meters down the road.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mohan Bahadur Khand, from the District Police Office Tanahun, said that the identities of the deceased are yet to be determined.

Emergency response teams are actively attending to the injured, who are currently receiving treatment at various hospitals.

The authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to establish the cause of this tragic incident.
