Bus accident in Darchula leaves 16 injured, two in critical condition

KATHMANDU: A passenger bus accident in Khimtadi, Mahakali-5, Darchula district has resulted in 16 individuals sustaining injuries, with two reported to be in critical condition.

The incident involved a bus with the license plate Province 02-001 Kha 1031, which was en route to Mahendranagar.

The bus reportedly plunged approximately 15 meters down the road at Khimtadi, as confirmed by DSP Shiva Bahadur Singh.

The injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at the district hospital.

The exact reasons behind the accident have not been identified at this point.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances leading to the unfortunate incident.
