PM Oli receives UAE Ambassador; invitation extended for World Governments Summit



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli received a courtesy call today from Abdullah Al Shamsi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nepal, at the Prime Minister’s residence.

During the meeting, Ambassador Shamsi handed over an invitation letter from UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, inviting PM Oli to participate in the World Governments Summit, scheduled to be held in Dubai in the second week of February.

Discussions focused on strengthening mutual relations and exploring areas of shared interest.

Both sides emphasized the effective implementation of previous bilateral agreements and cooperation in sectors such as trade, investment, agriculture, hydropower, and tourism.
