KATHMANDU: The Sisneri-Dakshinkali road, which links Hetauda to Kathmandu, has been closed to traffic from today until December 26 due to ongoing blacktopping work on the Dakshinkali-Chaimale section.

According to DSP Shyam Aryal of the Makawanpur District Police Office, the Kulekhani-Fakhel-Matatirtha road has also been closed for upgrading purposes.

During the road closure, vehicles are being rerouted through Kanti Highway, Tribhuvan Highway, and the Narayangadh-Muglin Road to reach Kathmandu.
