Small and Medium Enterprise Development Centre established



KATHMANDU: The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Centre has been established at the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).

National Planning Commission Secretary Madhu Marasini, Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Krishna Rawat and FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal inaugurated the Centre on Monday.

The Centre is aimed at providing skills, technology and training support for running enterprises.

Likewise, market management, fiscal management and assistance on business strategy would be provided through the Centre to empower the entrepreneurs, it is said.

The FNCCI said counselling and equipment would be provided to increase the capacity of production and ensure the quality of goods.

Furthermore, the Centre would work to take the products to the national and international markets, organize trade fairs and exhibition and other promotional programmes.
