KATHMANDU: The scheduled meeting of the Maoist Center’s office bearers has been postponed.

Originally scheduled for today at 1 PM at the party’s central office in Parisdanda, Koteswor, the meeting will not take place due to Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ being occupied with other commitments.

Vice Chair and Party Spokesperson Agni Sapkota stated that the postponement was necessary as Prachanda will be attending programs, including paying homage to former Speaker Damannath Dhungana.

The agenda for the meeting included discussions on local-level by-elections, constitutional amendments, the municipal conference, the central committee meeting, and other important matters.

The rescheduled meeting will now take place on Tuesday.
