Corruption case filed against Ex-DIG Ramesh Kharel amidst allegations against Kulman Ghising

KATHMANDU: A corruption case has been filed against former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police, Ramesh Kharel, who recently accused Kulman Ghising, the Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), of corruption.

The case was filed by Yubraj Safal at the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Sunday.

Safal has alleged that Kharel was involved in corrupt activities involving millions of rupees.

This development comes after Kharel himself filed a corruption case against Ghising at the CIAA on August 13.
