PM Dahal reaches Parisdanda after meeting NC leaders

KATHMANDU: Following a meeting with Nepali Congress (NC) leaders, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has arrived at the CPN-Maoist Center headquarters in Parisdanda, Kathmandu.

PM Dahal is scheduled to participate in various programs at the party office in Parisdanda.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, PM Dahal is likely to hold another meeting with the NC this evening.

The Prime Minister is under pressure to break the deadlock in parliament by engaging with the NC, the main opposition party, which is obstructing parliamentary proceedings to demand the formation of a committee to investigate Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane’s alleged involvement in cooperative-related fraud.
