NRB Director Acharya suspended amidst allegations of sexual abuse



KATHMANDU: Thaneshwor Acharya, the Director of the Human Resource Management Department at the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), has been suspended from his position amidst allegations of sexual abuse.

Acharya stands accused of sexually abusing a female colleague during a program at Nagarkot in Poush.

The suspension came into effect following these serious allegations.

Bhagawat Acharya, the Information Officer at the NRB, confirmed that Director Acharya’s suspension was prompted by the allegations.

The suspended Director is now facing charges of sexual abuse involving one of his female coworkers.
