Former Vice President Pun’s advisor Gurung released on bail

KATHMANDU: Jeevan Gurung, advisor to former Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, who was arrested in connection with a gold smuggling case, has been granted bail.

The Kathmandu District Court issued an order for Gurung’s release on bail of Rs 1,500,000.

Gurung was previously apprehended by the Crime Investigation Bureau (CIB) on suspicion of his involvement in the gold smuggling case.
