NEPSE witnesses 27.31-point decline on Sunday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) faced a downward trend on the first trading day of the week, with all indicators experiencing a decline.

The NEPSE index saw a decrease of 27.21 points (1.31%) compared to the previous trading day.

Following this downturn, NEPSE now stands at 2034 points.

In addition to NEPSE, the sensitive index dropped by 0.91%, and the float index declined by 1.32%.

The sensitive index represents indicators for ‘A’ category companies, while the float index provides an overall reflection of shares available to the general public.

The total turnover in the stock market amounted to Rs 3.77 billion.

Among the companies traded today, the values of 21 increased, 2 remained stable, and 225 companies decreased.
