HoR: PM Dahal to respond to lawmakers’ queries today



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today at 11 am in the Parliament building, New Baneswor.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire is scheduled to commence the session by reading out a letter from the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.

A highlight of today’s agenda, as stated by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, includes an interactive question-and-answer program featuring Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

Parliamentarians will have the opportunity to pose questions to the Prime Minister, shedding light on various pressing matters.

Additionally, the meeting will address the ‘Shahid Dashrath Chand Health and Science University Bill 2080,’ originating from the National Assembly, following a message received on the same from the National Assembly.

Chairman of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, Ramhari Khatiwada, is slated to table the ‘Report on Monitoring and Evaluation Bill 2080,’ also originating from the National Assembly.

Furthermore, Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat is expected to present a proposal for the consideration of the ‘Banking Offenses and Punishment ‘Second Amendment’ Bill 2080.’
