PM Cup Update: Tribhuwan Army Club dominates, restricts Koshi Province to 88 runs



KATHMANDU: In a riveting encounter at the Prime Minister Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament 2024, Tribhuwan Army Club showcased a strong performance by restricting Koshi Province to 88 runs in 24.4 overs.

Shahab Alam of the Army displayed exceptional bowling prowess, taking six wickets during the match.

Koshi Province’s captain, Ankit Subedi, emerged as the top scorer with a commendable 41 runs, including nine fours.

Having won the toss, Tribhuwan Army Club elected to bowl first, a decision that paid off with their effective bowling attack.

With a target of 89 runs to secure victory, the Tribhuwan Army Club is now geared up for their batting innings, looking to rebound from the three-wicket loss suffered against Bagmati Province in the match played on Wednesday.
