Minister Yadav directs KUKL to ensure water supply



KATHMANDU:  Minister for Water Supply Pradeep Yadav has directed the subordinate bodies concerned to ensure the supply of pure drinking water to consumers.

He instructed the Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited, Project Implementation Directorate (PID) employees to ensure the supply of drinking water in the Kathmandu Valley, after conducting a monitoring and inspection visit at the Directorate today.

Minister Yadav also directed the Directorate to complete at the earliest possible the remaining works to be carried out in connection to the automated distribution of drinking water, collection of various data related to water supply and controlling the leakage of water to be done from the Panipokhari Control Room.

The Water Supply Minister also urged the Directorate for the timely completion of all works related to water supply that it has been operating at present.
