Unified Socialist forms task force to study constitution amendment



KATHMANDU: The Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN-Unified Socialist has formed a task force to study constitutional amendments.

A Standing Committee meeting held in Kathmandu decided to establish a six-member task force under the coordination of party Vice Chair and former Minister Prakash Jwala, informed Vice Chair and spokesperson Jagannath Khatiwada.

Khatiwada stated that the task force will study the necessity, relevance, and various aspects of constitutional amendments amid ongoing discussions and proposals being floated by ruling parties.

Alongside Jwala, the task force includes Garima Shah, Ganesh B.K., Bal Dev Chaudhary, Ram Chandra Yadav, Ghan Prasad Gautam, and Rajan Rai as members.
