NEPSE sees minor increase, up by 2.95 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s stock market saw a minor increase today, with the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) rising by 2.95 points, marking a 0.11% increase.

A total of 8,939,348 shares were traded, with 117 companies’ stock prices rising, 117 companies’ stock prices declining, and 10 companies’ stock prices remaining unchanged.

The total turnover for the day stood at Rs 4.34 billion.

Among the sectors, the highest gains were seen in the Trading sector, which rose by 28.05 points. Other sectors that saw notable increases included Microfinance (27.27 points), Finance (27.16 points), and Non-life Insurance (24.86 points).

On the downside, Development Bank witnessed the most significant decline, falling by 36.56 points, closely followed by Manufacturing, which dropped by 29.89 points.
